Sherri Johnson

Sherri is an Arizona native, has lived in the district for 30+ years, attended Kyrene and Tempe Union schools, and was part of the first graduating class from Mountain Pointe H.S. in 1994. She is passionate about ending systemic racism and ensuring equity for all, public school funding and supporting educators, police and criminal justice reform, women’s rights, and gun reform. Sherri started volunteering with LD18 Democrats during the 2020 election. Working behind the scenes with the Ahwatukee Leads, she helped implement the leadership structure envisioned for this District in Ahwatukee, mobilize volunteers, create and present Tukee Talks, send communications to voters, volunteers and precinct leaders, and coordinate events. Sherri is married and has a teenage son.
